After going undefeated in conference play, Grand Valley State University has clinched the GLR North and will proceed to the Great Lakes Regional Tournament to compete for a chance to play in the 2013 NCSA World Series. The regional tournament will take place on the weekend of April 19-21. Congratulations Lakers!

After taking 2 of 3 games from the University of Massachusetts, the University of Connecticut has clinched the NAR North and will proceed to the North Atlantic Regional Tournament to fight for a chance to play in the 2013 NCSA World Series. The regional tournament will take place on the weekend of April 19-21. Congratulations to the Huskies!

CollClubSports is excited to announce that Savannah Harp has recently been promoted to Director of Softball Operations! For the past 3 years, Savannah has been an outstanding member of the CollClubSports staff and her passion for the NCSA, the NCSA teams, and the game of softball have developed her into the perfect person to take the NCSA and club softball in general to the next level. She has already done and outstanding job working with new teams to join the league and we can’t wait to see how she’s able to use her passion and experience to develop the NCSA for the future. Please join me in congratulating Savannah on her new promotion.

It’s no surprise that Florida is #1, but a three way tie for 4th has shaken up the 2012 NCSA FINAL ADVOCARE Top 15 Poll.

Both Grand Valley State and the University of Florida have been placed on probation resulting from “conducting the softball operations of their team in a manner not considered acceptable by NCSA standards.” a violation of NCSA 17.01.0.  Consequently neither team will be eligible for an At-Large Bid to the World Series in 2013.
