It’s no surprise that Florida is #1, but a three way tie for 4th has shaken up the 2012 NCSA FINAL ADVOCARE Top 15 Poll.

Both Grand Valley State and the University of Florida have been placed on probation resulting from “conducting the softball operations of their team in a manner not considered acceptable by NCSA standards.” a violation of NCSA 17.01.0.  Consequently neither team will be eligible for an At-Large Bid to the World Series in 2013.

The Florida Gators took home their 2nd National Title by defeating the Illinois Fighting Illini 8 to 7 with a come from behind extra innings victory.  Congratulations Gators.
