APRIL 1ST: NCSA ROSTER FREEZE

The NCSA Roster Freeze is April 1st.  After that date, no players can be added to NCSA rosters.  It is essential for teams to go online to the NCSA website and confirm their rosters are accurate since there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.

Teams are encouraged to go the TEAMS page, find their team, then select “Team Roster.” This is their official team roster.  Teams should check, then double check that all players are listed that should be listed.  Since the roster removal period has ended, no players can be removed, but players can be added up until their roster has reached 25 players or April 1st has passed.

Any questions can be directed to Justyn Martinko.

The NCSA is trilled to introduce the NCSA’s newest employee, Justyn Martinko.

Justyn has come on board to serve as the Director of Division II Softball Operations as well as Director of Team Development.  Justyn is a former club baseball player at the University of Montana where he played and eventually coached.  During his tenure with the UM Club Baseball Team, Justyn saw a team of just 10 players in his first year as a player turn into a conference championship team with a record number roster as his time as a coach.
