Robert Morris University and Dickinson College have officially joined the NCSA for the 2026-2027 season! The NCSA is excited to welcome the Colonials and Red Devils as the fifth and sixth new teams to join for the ’26-’27 season.

LANCASTER NAMED DIR. OF SWING INTO SPRING – WEST

CollClubSports is proud to announce the promotion of Ryan Lancaster to Director of Swing into Spring-West.

Since joining the organization full-time in the summer of 2025, Ryan has quickly established himself as a valuable member of the CollClubSports Front Office. A former club baseball player at Indiana University, Ryan brings a unique perspective to the role, having experienced Swing into Spring firsthand as both a participant and an event administrator. Most recently, he helped oversee the 2026 Swing into Spring-West event in Henderson, Nevada, giving him invaluable insight into the event’s operations and opportunities for growth.

Ryan’s experience from both the player and administrative sides of the event positions him to continue enhancing the Swing into Spring-West experience for teams across the country. In his new role, he will work closely with Antonio Sacca, Director of Swing into Spring-East, to collaborate on new ideas, share best practices, and ensure both events continue to provide an outstanding experience for NCBA & NCSA teams.

VERHOFF PROMOTED TO DIR. OF SOFTBALL OPS.

CollClubSports and the National Club Softball Association (NCSA) are pleased to announce the promotion of Alec Verhoff to Director of Softball Operations, where he will oversee both NCSA Division I and Division II day-to-day operations.

Since taking over leadership of NCSA Division I, Alec has quickly established himself as an exceptional leader, demonstrating a strong commitment to member teams, operational excellence, and the continued growth of collegiate club softball. His ability to build relationships, manage complex operations, and deliver results has made a significant impact on the organization in a short period of time.

Alec brings a proven track record of success through his leadership of the NCBBA Women’s Club Basketball League and the NCBA Division II Club Baseball League. Across multiple organizations, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to enhance the student-athlete experience while strengthening league operations and fostering organizational growth.

His leadership, work ethic, professionalism, and dedication to collegiate club sports make him uniquely qualified for this expanded role. As Director of Softball Operations, Alec will continue to build upon the strong foundation of the NCSA and help guide both Division I and Division II toward continued success.

We congratulate Alec on this well-deserved promotion and look forward to his continued contributions to the National Club Softball Association.

SMITH PROMOTED TO COO

On June 1st, 2026 CollClubSports announced the promotion of Christian Smith to Chief Operations Officer, recognizing his nearly 20 years of leadership and contributions to the organization’s growth and operational success. In his new role, Smith will oversee daily operations, strengthen partnerships with university club teams, and help drive strategic initiatives focused on enhancing the student-athlete experience nationwide.

Since joining the company in 2006, Smith has served in multiple leadership roles across Club Baseball, Club Basketball, and Club Softball, playing a key role in expanding the organization’s reach and improving operational efficiency. CEO Sandy Sanderson praised Smith’s leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to the company’s mission, while Smith expressed excitement about continuing to build innovative solutions and partnerships as CollClubSports continues its rapid growth in collegiate club athletics.

NCSA DII WORLD SERIES MVP

The NCSA Would like to congratulate Wake Forest Freshman Pitcher, Maleah Lovell for taking home the 2026 NCSA DII World Series MVP award! Lovell pitched in every game of the tournament, going a perfect 5-0 and also hit 2 home runs to help propel the Demon Deacons to their first NCSA DII World Series Championship!

DII WORLD SERIES: CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY

Championship Sunday did not disappoint, as we had 3 great games set up by an all-time great championship game between Northern Michigan and Wake Forest.
the Demon Deacons took home their first National Championship on a walk-off grand-slam! Congratulations to Wake Forest!

The NCSA would like to thank all the teams, coaches, umpires, and field crew for an amazing tournament atmosphere and great weekend of championship softball!

Pool play has wrapped up at Graham Park! Wake Forest remains the number 1 seed after going 3-0. We will crown a National Champion tomorrow! Who will take home the title?

NCSA DII WORLD SERIES DAY 1 RESULTS!

Due to weather in Cranberry Township, 4 of the 6 pool play games were played in an action packed Friday night slate! Wake Forest is 2-0 in pool play, while Villanova and Northern Michigan end the day 1-1. pool play wraps up tomorrow afternoon!

RAWLINGS NCSA DII TOP 10 POLL – WEEK 34

Wake Forest claims 8 out of 10 First place votes and are the #1 seed headed into the DII World Series! Will they be hoisting the trophy next weekend in Cranberry? or will Sacred Heart, Northern Michigan and Villanova be able to knock them off? We’ll find out soon enough!
