The October NCSA D2 Top 10 has a lot of movement! We have a new #1 see this month and it is Sacred Heart D2, starting the season off 3-0 beating Yale and coming in 4th at the NCSA D2 World Series this is well deserved SHU D2! we have a tie for the #2 seed trailing 17 Points behind is Fairfield and UW-Whitewater these teams are both power houses in the NCSA UW-Whitewater is our reigning National Champion for the 2023-24 season, both teams earning #1 votes!  Wisconsin is at #4 as they did earn a #1 place vote as well. #5 seed is Stonehill with the most 1st place votes 4 in total! Wayne State College officially joined the NCSA for the 2024-2025 season! The NCSA is excited to welcome the Wildcats who join Colorado State University-Pueblo, University of Missouri, Washington University in St. Louis, Youngstown State University, University of St. Thomas, Yale University, University of New Mexico and Nova Southeastern University as the new teams for ’24-’25 thus far.

The NCSA D2 season has officially started, and we would like to announce the 2024-25 Preseason Top 10 teams! With no surprise here we have our National Champion at #1, I think this placement can speak for itself as this ranking was well deserved! #2 you are looking at your runner up from the World Series, Salisbury never gave up throughout the year making this a well-earned #2 seed! At #3 we have SHU D2 Sacred Heart never gave up this season, this is a team to watch this season! To see Stevenson at #5 was a surprise as they were out third place team at the World Series, I know they will bring their best 9 on the field this season! District 4 home of the National Champions UW-Whitewater, what a way to finish the 2024 season! District 4 is a powerhouse for competition with Wisconsin D2, Ferris state, SVSU and UW-Whitewater! These four teams not only made their mark this year but will continue to get stronger and stronger for the years to come. Adding St. Thomas to the mix this year we are excited to see if they will shuffle things around!
